OctoMouse is a desktop application that runs entirely on your own Windows PC. It is designed to be private by default.
OctoMouse counts your mouse and keyboard activity (such as clicks, keystrokes, mouse distance and scrolling) and reads local system metrics (CPU, memory, disk, battery, network). These counters are stored in a file on your computer.
Nothing. OctoMouse has no analytics, no advertising and no accounts. It does not transmit your activity, keystrokes or any personal data to us or to any third party.
If you turn on folder sync, OctoMouse copies its own data files into a folder that you choose — typically a folder already synced by Google Drive, OneDrive or similar. The synchronisation itself is performed by that service under your own account; OctoMouse never sends data anywhere on its own.
This website (octomouse.takohi.me) is a static page served over HTTPS. It does not set advertising cookies or run third-party trackers.
